LX Health is excited to announce an enhanced partnership with Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) for the 2025 LuminaX HealthTech Accelerator. This initiative will empower 10 Australian startups each year to accelerate their commercialisation efforts by leveraging GCHHS’s expertise in health, education, research, and potential collaboration opportunities.
Situated in the Gold Coast Health & Knowledge Precinct, alongside Cohort Innovation Space, GCHHS continues to lead the charge in healthcare innovation. Late last year the hospital introduced Australia’s first rehabilitation robot, designed to assist upper and lower limb recovery for patients overcoming strokes or other neurological conditions, further solidifying its reputation as a pioneer in healthtech adoption.
Now entering its 5th year, the LuminaX HealthTech Accelerator at Cohort provides startups with a unique platform to present their innovative solutions to hospitals nationwide. LX Health Director Dren Xerxa highlighted how this collaboration drives growth for digital health companies and fosters advancements in healthcare technology across Australia.
